When is the X-Ray/Ultrasound office open?Greater Niagara Medical Imaging, located on the main floor of our building at 555 Prince Charles Drive, is open Mon-Fri 9:00am to 5:00pm and can be contacted at 905-735-2929. It is closed on Sat and Sun.
Do you offer lab services?We do not, but Alpha Labs is located on the main floor of our building at 555 Prince Charles Drive for walk-in appointments and can be contacted at
905-734-6075. Additionally, LifeLabs has various locations in Niagara and appointments can be booked online.
What are Alpha Labs’ operating hours?Alpha Labs is open Mon-Fri from 8:00am to 5:30pm and Sat from 10:00am to 12:00 Noon.
How long does it typically take to get my lab results?Lab results are sent directly to the office via EMR (Electronic Medical Record) or fax and can take 2 - 4 working days to arrive.
How long before I receive my PAP results?Results from a PAP test can take 3 - 4 weeks to arrive at the office.
Parking: How much is it and do I have to pay?Parking is a flat rate of $3.00 and must be paid by anyone using the parking lot; however, the first 15 minutes are free for drop-off purposes. Additionally, people filling prescriptions at Prince Charles Medical Pharmacy, located on the main floor of the building, will receive a voucher for free parking.
How can I get a copy of my medical records?Please contact your physician's office and they can provide you with your records; there is a fee involved.
Are any doctors at the Welland McMaster Family Health Team accepting new patients?There are currently no doctors accepting new patients at this time.
What services are available to patients of the Welland McMaster Family Health Team?We offer the following:
• well baby care and immunization
• health exams for all ages
• PAP smears and female health check ups
• prenatal and obstetrician care (we do not do deliveries)
• chronic disease management
• ear syringing
• joint injections
• suturing of minor wounds
• removal of skin cancers, tags, lumps and bumps
• liquid nitrogen treatment of warts
• IUD insertion
• spirometry (breathing) tests
