Caregivers: Memory Loss Workshop

This free workshop is for people caring for loved ones with memory loss.

We will share information about management strategies for caregivers, caregiver burnout, and community resources.

Chair Yoga & Gentle Yoga

Chair Yoga

Do you suffer from chronic pain or limited mobility? Chair-based Yoga practice emphasizes mindful awareness of body sensations while one engages in gentle postures and stretches that are linked with the breath.  A chair and other props will be used.  This is for individuals with limited range of movement.

Gentle Yoga

Do you suffer from low back pain? These yoga sessions will focus on mindful awareness of body sensations, posture and breathing techniques, as well as targeted stretches and strengthening poses to help manage and improve your lower back pain. Chairs and other props will be used. This is for individuals with chronic low back pain.

Join our team of professionals for weekly topics important to your bone health followed by the practical application of exercises you can learn to do safely in your own home.

Many studies have shown that spending time in natural settings has important health and wellness benefits, such as:

Forest therapy isn’t about exercise for the body, but it is exercise for the soul. It is a guided stroll through the forest with a focus on Mindfulness techniques. Recommended for all ages and abilities.

Thrive Despite Pain Group

Does chronic pain affect your daily life, limiting your ability to perform everyday tasks?  Thrive is a communicative, interactive and supportive group designed to help you learn how to manage your pain through modifications, nutrition, meditation, exercise, and more. This group meets weekly for six (6) weeks, and each session is two (2) hours long.

Dates: Wednesday, May 23, 30, June 6, 13, 20 & 27th.
