Mindfulness

The practice of Mindfulness helps reduce stress by breaking some of the unconscious habits of thinking and behaving that stop you from living life to the fullest.  Join us on the 2nd and 3rd Wednesday of every month from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm to benefit from Mindfulness. 

Free of charge, no registration necessary. Held at the Community Wellness Complex, no membership required.

Urban Pole Walking

Come and join us for a new way to walk! Learn a new skill, experience many health benefits, and burn 20-45% more calories than regular walking!

Poles are provided.  

Tuesdays 8:00 am - 9:30 am

Pole Walking moves outside on Tuesday May 9th. Please meet at the Welland Community Wellness Complex for start times of 8:00am and 8:45am. 

Pole Walking will be held indoors at the Seaway Mall starting in late Fall, date to be determined.

 

 

Craving Change

Do you struggle with emotional eating? Join our Registered Dietitian and Mental Health Nurse for a 6-week group which uses a Cognitive Behavioural approach to emotional eating that focuses on why we eat.

Craving Change Booster Single Sessions

Craving Change Booster Single Sessions are for patients who have previously attended a Craving Change 6-week group session. These Boosters are designed to help Craving Change participants keep on track by reviewing techniques and strategies for success. They provide opportunities for participants to share successes and challenges, to re-set their focus, and to keep on track.

Come and join us for an Anxiety Group based on a Cognitive Behavioural Approach. This is a 9-week program.

Thrive Despite Pain Group

Does chronic pain affect your daily life, limiting your ability to perform everyday tasks?  Thrive is a communicative, interactive and supportive group designed to help you learn how to manage your pain through modifications, nutrition, meditation, exercise, and more. This group meets weekly for six (6) weeks, and each session is two (2) hours long.
